In examining the history of Islamic sects, we encounter a suspicion that says that with the death of Ismail, the oldest son of Imam Sadiq, and Sayyid Muhammad, the oldest son of Imam Hadi, the position of Imamate was transferred to their younger brothers, Imam Kazim and Hazrat Askari. This statement has become the origin of the emergence of the Ismaili and Muhammadi sects in Shiite history.
And in the present era, some authors, such as Mr. Modarresi, have exaggerated it in his book "School in the Process of Evolution" and have created the suspicion of "bada in the Imamate". we have examined the validity of this claim using a descriptive-analytical method. Considering the meaning of bada' in the dictionary, the Quran, and the hadiths, it is concluded that although belief in "bada'" is considered an important Shiite belief principle that indicates God's power and authority to change destinies, but due to the mention of the names and number of the pure Imams in the Shia and Sunni mutawatir documents and even in previous divine books, no change has taken place in the person of the Twelve Imams.
